Keeping healthy during this season
What can I say, it’s been a rough couple of weeks holding down the fort because my husband got hit with the coronavirus. Here are a few things you can keep in your medicine cabinet (or in our case, the kitchen shelf) for those upcoming sick days.
(DISCLAIMER: I’m not a medical professional. I am a mom with adorable, germ monsters. The items below are meant for adults…and as always, read the instructions. I’m not offering medical advise or opinion. Clearly, I’m not a doctor…duh!)
As someone who catches whatever the kids have, I wanted to make sure we had these handy. And, it was super helpful this past couple of weeks for sure!
Mucinex Fast-Max: I can’t say enough about this. Being in the restaurant industry, you work through being sick. (not sure about this these days with the protocols in place). BUT – This was a life-saver for so many of those days I had to be present.
Motrin: Um, I’m over 40…so yeah, my body hurts sometimes. LOL
Elderberry: Many of my friends make this stuff but I’m not that kind of mom 😂. I don’t know what this stuff is supposed to do, but I feel better when I take it. I think these come in gummies, too.
Echinacea: I’ve had co-workers who were positive suggest things that they used. WARNING: I have not used this but people I know who have had the virus used this. I’m simply sharing information. Supposed to help immunity and respiratory function.
These next couple are what I have around generally for just a common cold:
Everyone stay safe!
