in·know·ology

What is our why?

The US market is dominated by subpar, anonymous wines. Finer wines throw away thousands of dollars each year to be noticed and consumers still don’t know who they are. in·know·ology provides a cohesive network that demystifies better wines, taking your time-honored tradition and creating a familiar place on the American table.

Jeremy Hart

Co-Founder / Pres

Jeremy Hart is the co-founder of in·know·ology  and in past experiences has helped more than 50 brands break through the mass of anonymous wine ocean. Combined, Jeremy’s experience has provided him with a cohesive approach to selling better wines. Some successes include: bringing Ridgeview (the crown jewel of English Sparking Wine Producers) to the American market nationally, created and spearheaded the Legit brand which became #26 wine in 2019’s Wine Spectator’s Top 100 in its inaugural release, and also MC’d the TexSom Conference closing dinner the last six years for all of the speakers.

His experience includes importation for over seven years and spans all the way to the operator level. He personally was responsible for key accounts, statewide retailers, national restaurant chains, and managed over 400 SKUs across 6 states through nearly 10 distributors. Most recently, he partnered with Somm.ai to bring an even larger opportunity to the beverage community to help with additional revenue streams and reopening to help operators and wineries alike.

Jeremy is widely considered one of the most entertaining and resourceful in the wine scene. His cohorts are challenged to lean into a different way of selling, pivoting beyond the traditional, and execute a brand vision on behalf of the wineries, and understand the story of their customers so they can serve them with passion.

Fern Casio

Co-Founder / Ops

Fern has been many things in her life. From a military kid who grew up in Japan and then raised in South Texas to working in advertising agencies to beverage R&D, Fern’s life has never been dull. Currently she is a marketing director, consultant, and mom who splits her time between running programs in the restaurant and most recently home schooling four kiddos. She has a hunger for helping people understand their calling and what part people play in that story. In the past, she has traveled the US, working with multi-chain restaurants representing different beverage clients, worked on the advertising agency side creating media campaigns for QSR’s, and currently on the operator side, sharing her skills in event execution, promotional planning, and is even an advisor to the culinary team. She is a social media junkie, binge-watcher of obscure shows, and passionate about all things food.

She has a history of implementing systems to create efficiencies in businesses while maintaining the vision and helping others to work through difficult transitions and often dividing discussions on “getting things done” and “at what cost?”. She says, “My superpower is not always to tell people the how, but to try to help them walk through their problem to help them create a better structured business.”
